Examples of potsherd fragments of Holy Land pottery

The Patchwork of Life Women’s Conference announced today they will host a Pottery Exhibition as part of the third annual conference to be held in Palacios, TX April 11, 2015.

The exhibition will feature several unique sections, including several 4,000 year-old potsherd fragments of Holy Land pottery, discovered by archaeologists from the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. There will also be a special exhibit of replicas of three types of oil lamps mentioned in the Bible.

The Exhibition will also feature examples of pottery, both new and old, from Texas and the Southwest. The Conference is encouraging all Bay Area women to enter hand made pottery that they own and use in the exhibit.
